Erin has a keen understanding of relationships whether it be that of humans or of our furry ones, she has spent many years working on how to manage these delicate aspects of living in harmony as she takes those furry friends out for their daily exercise rain, snow, sleet or hot sun. Our Shelties started private walks with A Balanced Pack, after a family death meant they were spending long hours alone.   They quickly adjusted to the “new” person and now love going out with the group.  Erin and her associates have helped them adjust to the loss and become more confident in their surroundings.  Our formerly shy boy now comes running when I ask if they want to go for a walk.  Thank you Erin for helping all of us transition to this new phase in our lives. - L. I wanted to let you know how much we appreciated your care of Blue while we were gone for a month.  His daily walks must have been good because he was happy and in great form when we returned.  I couldn't help but notice how enthusiastic he is when you come to our house.  I am pleased to see you that you have expanded your business to include play dates for the dogs and I have seen how much the dogs enjoy the socializing.  Blue also gets much needed exercise on these dates with his pals.

Erin has been an important part of our family now for 2 1/2 years. She is a big part of why our Lily is such a well behaved, lovable dog. Erin trained Lily on and off leash. We had no experience with dogs, and our 2 girls desperately wanted one. Erin came in, and spent time with our girls, helping them to understand dog behaviour. She also took them outside, and taught the girls how to walk the dog on leash. Erin is so knowledgeable, we go to her for any advice on our dog; she is always patient, and helpful. Lily loves Erin, she hears the door open for her walks, 3 times a week, and she bolts to greet her. Erin taught my husband and I how to discipline Lily, and helped us understand what a dog needs to be a happy, well adjusted animal. We cannot say enough about Erin from A Balanced Pack.  We were introduced to Erin last summer after we brought our mini golden doodle puppy home.  She was recommended by a local vet and we are very grateful that Erin agreed to adopt our Obi into her wonderful pack.  Erin is very warm and approachable, and on many occasions she has provided us with encouragement and valuable training tips!  Erin is undoubtedly the leader of the pack, and the dogs clearly respect her position of authority.  Obi always greets Erin enthusiastically, and he knows that although she is the boss, she loves him to bits.  We always enjoy sharing a laugh with Erin when Obi has one of his famous cute and/or dramatic moments.  When we come home at the end of the day, Obi is happy and relaxed.  We can tell that he has had lots of wonderful exercise running, playing and swimming with his dog friends and Erin.  We recommend Erin to all of our friends with dogs and we feel very fortunate that she is part of Obi’s life and ours. - J. Moving to a new city has its challenges, for us it was finding a new dog walker for Mac. Hi, my name is Darcy and I am a very lucky Shih Tzu because Erin has been coming to my house to walk me and care for me every week since I was a little puppy (I am now a big boy who is nine months old)!  Erin has taught me so much through her loving care and my walks with the pack.  My mom and dad say that Erin is just the best and that they can always travel and go to work with peace of mind knowing that she is providing me with such professional and loving care!  Erin has also cared for my kitty brother and sisters and they feel the same way. Erin and A Balanced Pack have been a blessing for our busy family – work, kids and many other activities limit our ability to take our little Pixie out for her daily outings to burn off all of her excess energy! At first, I was skeptical at having someone come to our house, pick Pixie up for her “field trip” and then bring her safely home before we are back from work, but my mind was put to ease when I saw how happy (and tired) Pixie was after her outing with Erin.  Thank you Erin for your professionalism, timeliness and most of all love and care for our Pixie – and on her behalf she would love to thank you for the best doggie days at the park (not to mention the mud).  As much as I would like to keep A Balanced Pack as a best kept secret, it would be unfair to all the other dog-families. -P.
